Zoe Strauss has been a photographer that over the past year I have either loved or hated.

Her images I find can be pretty intrusive and in your face. But some of her landscapes and some of her portraits are full of hidden meaning and beauty. She is a photographer that I do really struggle with predominantly because I find the way she shoots digital a little annoying. Just personal opinion I guess. I sometimes find that image manipulation can take away from the original image truth factors. The image above is beautiful and I would rather not know how much it has been manipulated.

One of the great things about Zoe is that she is up for anything and her blogging is worth praise. She will often send out updates and newsletters and will be constantly shooting images.
